Police Blotter: Identity Theft, Burglary Arrest, Report of Man with Gun

Identity theft

Jermone Fonte Bass, 37, of the 1600 block of West 63rd in Chicago, was arrested at 12:17 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, Naperville Police Department said. He was charged with identity theft. His bail was $30,000.

Burglary

John R. Staggs, 18, of the 1000 block of Alder Lane, was arrested at 11:15 a.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. He was charged with burglary and transported to DuPage County Jail.

  • Kirk David Stallworth, 43, of the 6900 block of South Michigan Avenue, was arrested at 7:07 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance and transported to DuPage County Jail.
  • Secunda Urica McKnight, 40, of the 1500 block of West Jefferson Avenue, was arrested in the 1500 block of West Ogden Avenue, police said. She was charged with manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance and transported to DuPage County Jail.

Suspended/revoked license

  • Juventino Carranza, 45, of the 2600 block of Lindrick in Aurora, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. near 75th Street and Rickert Drive, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $1,500.
  • Jeffrey Alan Bogdan, 45, of the 1000 block of Preserve Avenue, was arrested at 7:58 p.m. near 75th Street and Olympus Drive, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $1,500. 

Driving under the influence

James Murphy Prombo, 35, of the 800 block of Manassas Court, was arrested at 1:12 a.m. near Eagle Street and West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.

Retail theft

Gary Tyrell Tyree, 24, of the 2000 block of Farmington in Oswego, was arrested at 12:18 p.m. in the 2700 block of Forgue Drive, police said. He was charged with four counts of retail theft. His bail was $1,500.

Possession of cannabis

John Alan Reasor, 21, of the 300 block of South Adams Street in Westmont, was arrested at 3:05 p.m. in the 400 block of South Brainard Street, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was $120.  

Theft of labor/services

Nicholas Alexander Abbott, 24, of the 800 block of Addison Road, was arrested at 3:25 p.m. in the 0-99 block of South Naper Boulevard, police said. He was charged with theft of labor/services. His bail was $1,500. 

No driver's license

Miguel Hernandez, 25, of the 700 block of Kane Street in Aurora, was arrested near Route 59 and North Aurora Road, police said. He was charged with no driver's license. His bail was $1,500.

Man with a gun

Police received a report of a white male with a gun in the 800 block of South Washington Street around 6:11 p.m.

Burglary

A burglary from a padlocked storage locker was reported in the 200 block of East Bailey Road, police said.
