Police Blotter: Burglary; Missing Leather Jacket

Naperville police reports, Feb. 7.

Monday, Feb. 7

Warrant Arrest

Trey A. Simon, 25, of the 1800 block of Silver Ridge Drive in Plainfield, was arrested around 9:15 a.m. near the intersection of South Route 59 and Cantore Road on a failure-to-appear warrant. His bail was set at $1,000, police said.

Jacquelyn Randle, 49, of the 500 block of Monroe Road in Bolingbrook, was arrested around 11 p.m. near the intersection of South Route 59 and Ogden Avenue on a warrant out of DuPage County, police said. She was also charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and driving without wearing a seat belt. Her bail was set at $2,500.

Car vs. School Bus

Police said that around 4:50 p.m. near the intersection of Gowdey Road and Pas Court in , a driver fell asleep at the wheel and struck a parked school bus. The driver was transported to Edward Hospital for treatment of an eye injury.

Computer Fraud

Jane E. Jesse, 53, of the 3700 block of Celeste Lane in , was arrested around 10 a.m. in the 1200 block of East Diehl Road on an original warrant out of Will County for computer fraud, police said. Her bail was set at $25,000.

Driving Under the Influence

Steven R. Lally, 56, of the 2700 block of Valley Forge Road in Lisle, was arrested around 5:30 p.m. in the 2500 block of Lisson Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use, police said. His bail was set at $3,000.

Mailbox Damage

A 61-year-old woman, of the 2400 block of Trillium Lane in , reported that his mailbox had been damaged. He said he believed someone damaged it between 5 p.m. Feb. 6 and 12:30 p.m. Feb. 7.

Burglary

Police said that sometime between 5 p.m. Feb. 5 and 6 a.m. on Feb. 7, someone entered Healthy Cleaners, 2035 S. Washington St., in , and stole $1,100 in cash. Additional information was not immediately available.

Sunday, Feb. 6

Missing Leather Jacket

A 54-year-old man, who police said was dancing at a bar in the 1500 block of North Route 59 in , reported that his leather jacket and wallet were missing. He said he believed the items were stolen while he was on the dance floor between 11:15 p.m. Feb. 5 and 1 a.m. Feb. 6.
