Burglary arrest

Matthew Clifton Kanak, 18, of the 700 block of Hageman Place, was arrested at 12:54 p.m. at the , police said. He was charged with burglary. His bail was $10,000.

Matthew Aaron Barrera, 20, of the 1100 block of Needham Road, was arrested at 12:01 a.m. in the 800 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with a failure-to-appear warrant/summons/service. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.

  • Jairo Cruz, 22, of the 600 block of South Cedarcrest Drive in Schamburg, was arrested at 12:33 a.m. in the 100 block of West Warrenville Road, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis. His bond was $120.
  • Mitchell Thaddeus Menini, 18, of the 600 block of East 4th Avenue, was arrested at 1:11 a.m. near East Chicago Avenue and South Wright Street, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was $120.
  • Adam Paul Cappello, 21, of the 0-99 block of West Bailey Road, was arrested at 10:25 p.m. near Swallow Street and West Bailey Road, police said. He was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor/host party and possession of cannabis. His bond was $120.
  • Emma Christina Hermick, 18, of the 1100 block of Collingwood Drive, was arrested at 10:25 p.m. near Swallow Street and West Bailey Road, police said. She was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was $120.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Emma Grace Moug, 20, of the 400 block of Douglas Street in Oswego, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. in the 100 block of West Warrenville Road, police said. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and consumption of liquor by a minor. Her bond was $120.

Driving under the influence 

Bryan Christopher Clausen, 38, of the 2300 block of Sunrise Court in Aurora, was arrested at 1:22 a.m. near Redstart Road and South Washington Street, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. His bond was $300.

Disorderly conduct

Steven Donnell Gaines, 18, of the 500 block of East Bailey Road, was arrested at 10:39 a.m. in the 2200 block of 64th Street in Woodridge, police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal damage to state property. His bail was $2,500.

Driving on a suspended/license 

Daniel Virkam McSwiggen, 21, of the 26100 block of Chatham Drive in Plainfield, was arrested at 8:15 p.m. near Tall Grass Drive and 95th Street, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and speeding. His bail was $1,500.

Theft

Items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1900 block of Continental Avenue, police said.

Stolen laptop

A laptop was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 900 block of Fairway Drive, police said.

Missing Maple Leaf 

A Canadian flag was stolen from a flag pole in the 1800 block of Country Farm Drive, police said.

Cars burglarized 

  • A car was burglarized in the 500 block of Zephyr Road, police said.
  • A vehicle was burglarized in the 1800 block of Continental Avenue, police said. 
  • A car was also burglarized in the 900 block of Sanctuary Lane, police said.

Car snooping

  • A vehicle was entered and the center console and glove box were rummaged through in the 500 block of Spruce Drive, police said.
  • A vehicle was entered and rifled through in the 2300 block of Lexington Lane, police said.

Stolen liquor

Someone stole a bottle of liquor in the 1200 block of East Chicago Avenue, police said.
