Possession of cannabis

Xavier Zachery Rodriguez, 20, was arrested at 7:07 p.m. near Modaff Road and West 87th Street, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis. He posted bond.

Jaheem Rayvon Seigler, 21, was arrested at 7:25 p.m. in the 500 block of West 87th Street, police said. He was charged with interfering with an officer. He posted bond. 

Retail theft

  • Jorge Martinez, 23, was arrested at 7:07 p.m. in the 200 block of South Route 59, police said. He was charged with retail theft. He posted bond. 
  • Yessica Berenice Albavera, 20, was arrested at 9:03 p.m. in the 200 block of South Route 59, police said. She was charged with retail theft. She posted bond. 

Suspicious dent

A resident reported a suspicious dent in the handle of her front door in the 300 block of Wesley Avenue, police said.

Gold coin, purse stolen on West 87th Street

A gold coin and a purse valued at $500 was stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of West 87th Street, police said. 

Shotgun turned in to police

A shotgun was turned in to be destroyed at the Naperville Police Department, police said. 

Car egged

Eggs were thrown on a vehicle in the 1500 block of Selby Road, police said. 

Brookdale window broken

A cafeteria window at Brookdale Elementary School was broken, but no one appeared to enter the school as the motion sensor alarms were not activated, police said.
