Police Blotter: Brick Thrown Through Vehicle Window

Wednesday, July 20

Warrant arrest

Eric Leroy Ware, 30, of the 1700 block of Napoleon Drive, was arrested at 2:10 p.m. in the 800 block of S. West Street, police said. He was charged on three warrants out of DuPage County. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Driving under the influence

Chad A. Meyer, 29, of the 500 block of Ryergrass Trail, Aurora, was arrested at 11:37 p.m. at North Aurora Road and Frontenac Road, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence, following too close, crossing the double yellow lines, failure to dim headlights and failure to give a signal. His bail was set at $3,000.

Theft

Andrew Thomas Kubalewski, 22, of the 400 block of Valley Drive, was arrested in the 1600 block of Carnegie Court where he was charged with theft, according to police. His bail was set at $1,500.

A 63-year-old man in the 2500 block of Bar Harbour Court reported Wednesday that someone stole a checkbook from his home office between June 9 and July 6, police said.

Criminal damage

A 54-year-old man in the 0 block of Levernz Road and S. Route 59 reported at 6:53 p.m. that a rock or brick was thrown at his windshield while he was driving, police said. The windshield was valued at $3,500.

It was reported at 5:27 p.m. that at Brasswood Drive and Rowan Court a vandal spray-painted new sidewalks and a curb, police said.
