Police Blotter: Battery, Violating Bond, Unlocked Car Burglarized

Naperville Police Department reports, Jan. 11

Wednesday, Jan. 11 

Warrant

  • Monica Torres, 27, of the 2100 block of Liberty Street in Aurora, was arrested at 4:33 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. She was charged on an original warrant for endangering the life of a child. Her bond was $200.
  • Edgar Eduardo Gaytan, 17, of the 1300 block of Monomoy in Aurora, was arrested at 8 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. He was charged with burglary. His bail was $20,000.
  • Sergii Vicktorovich Siachyn, 20, of the 1500 block of Westminster Drive, was arrested at his home at 3:24 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant. His bond was $325.

Uninsured

Ashley Nichole Croy, 22, of the 100 block of Arboretum Drive in Lombard, was arrested at 12:01 a.m. at West 75th Street and South Route 59, police said. She was charged with driving without insurance, driving with a suspended/revoked license and no insurance-operating under a suspension. Her bail was $3,000.

Battery

Christopher S. Brewer, 35, of the 1100 block of West Ogden Avenue, was arrested at 10:50 p.m. at his home, police said. He was charged with battery, theft and two counts of criminal damage to property.

Violating bond

Jeanetta Mary Sutherland, 57, of the 30W700 block of Whispering Winds Drive, was arrested at 11:51 p.m. at West Diehl Road and North Route 59, police said. She was charged with violating a bail bond, illegal possession/transportation of liquor by a driver and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Burglary

A 34-year-old woman in the 3600 block of Lawrence Drive reported that items were taken overnight from an unlocked vehicle left in a open garage, police said.
