Consumption of liquor by minor

Eric Louis Pappalardo, 19, was arrested at 3:53 a.m. in the 500 block of Rock Spring Court, police said. He was charged with consumption of liquor by a minor. He posted bond. 

Protection order violation

David John Scott, 59, was arrested at 7:58 p.m. in the 1500 block of Georgia Court, police said. He was charged with violation of an order of protection. He was transported to DuPage County Jail. 

No insurance

Javier Arce, 35, was arrested at 9:14 p.m. near Diehl Road and North route 59, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance. He posted bond. 

Well, this is awkward

Someone rang a doorbell and tapped on the window of a home in the 1500 block of Swallow Street. When the resident answered the door, the person who rang the dorbell said he thought the home was vacant then apologized and left. The resident thought the incident was suspicious and reported it to police. 

Dine and dash

Someone left a restaurant in the 100 block of South Main Street without paying for food, police said.
