Friday, June 24

Driving under the influence

Jeffrey Michael Duranted, 28, of the 4600 block of Lake Valley Drive, Lisle was arrested at 1:18 a.m. in the 800 block of E. Ogden and Sherman avenues, according to police. He was charged with improper lane use and driving under the influence of alcohol. Bail was set at $3,000.

Jon Nobu Morishita, 44, of the 3000 block of Handley Court, Lisle, was arrested at 7:05 p.m. in the 100 block of W. Benton Avenue, according to police. He was charged with endangering the health of a child, drivers license not on his person, possession of cannabis—more than 2.5 grams but less than 10 grams, driving under the influence of drugs, driving under the influence of alcohol and disregarding a stop sign. Bail was set at $3,000.

Ashley N. Kalcic, 23, of the 4600 block of Lake Valley, Lisle was arrested at 1:21 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and permitting a person with a DUI to operate a vehicle, according to police. Bail was set at $3,000.

Rhonda Latosha Fitzpatrick, 37, of the 1000 block of Hyde Park was arrested at 5:09 p.m. in the 0 block of W. 75th and Washington streets, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended/revoked license, endangering the life/health of a child, failure to notify of a damaged, unattended vehicle, unsafe backing onto a roadway and failure to reduce speed and driving too fast for conditions. Her bail set at $3,000.

Warrant arrest

Kyle Anthony Burg, 22, of the 2300 block of Pepper Valley Drive, Geneva, was arrested at 2:06 p.m. in the 1500 block of Aurora and W. Ogden avenues, police said. He was charged on a warrant. His bond was set at $165.

Renee Melissa Rodriguez, 35, of the 13000 block of Kalamazoo Court, Plainfield was arrested at 12:39 p.m. in the 100 block of S. Naper Boulevard and Timber Trail Drive, police said. She was charged on an original warrant.

Driving without license

Christian A. Bustos, 19, of the 1700 block of Ellington Drive, Aurora was arrested at 10:23 p.m. in the 1400 block of N. Naper Boulevard and E. Ogden Avenue and was charged with driving without a license and improper starting of a vehicle, police said. His bail was set at $1,500.

Criminal trespass

Jonathon Paul Meyer, 18, of the 500 block of Stanhope Court, was arrested at 5:44 a.m. in the 1800 block of Winola Court and charged with criminal trespass to a vehicle, police said. His bail was $1,500.

Michael James Bina, 18, of the 100 block of Tamarack Avenue was arrested at 5:36 a.m. in the 1800 block of Winola Court and he was charged with criminal trespass to a vehicle, according to police.

Battery

Nicholas Andrew Danos, 33, of the 800 block of Santa Maria Drive was arrested at 11:46 p.m. in the 20 block of W. Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with violation of a bail bond, disorderly conduct, battery and interfering with an officer. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Suspended license

Artasia Reshone Riley, 25, of the 700 block of Inland Circle was arrested at 11:43 p.m. in the 1900 block of Brookdale Road and charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, police said. Bail was $1,500.

Denise Ellen Tobin, 45 of the 15000 block of Oro Grande Drive, Oak Forest was arrested at 12:45 a.m. in the 0 block of Ogden Avenue and Trade in Aurora, according to police. She was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Obstruction of justice

Lanowel I. Lloyd, 42, of the 400 block of E. Bailey Road was arrested at 8:48 p.m. at the same address and charged with false report of an offense and obstruction of justice, police said. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail. 

Saturday, June 25

Driving under the influence

Michael Dennis Cabanski, 44, of the 1300 block of Ashbury Drive, Lemont was arrested at 12:14 a.m. in the 20 block of E. Chicago Avenue and charged with a traffic control violation and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, police said. His bail was set at $3,000.

Mark Edward Poplonski, 24, of the 200 block of Cunningham Lane, Bloomingdale was arrested at 1:57 a.m. in the 20 block of E. 5th Avenue and N. Washington Street, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and illegal possession/transportation of liquor by a driver. His bail was set at $3,000.

Debra Nicole, Lerma, 23, of the 2300 block of Stacey in Montgomery was arrested at 2:21 a.m. in the 0 block of Devonshire Court and Aurora Avenue and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and operating an uninsured vehicle, police said. Bail was set at $3,000.

Meagan Elizabeth Bannon, 23, of the 2200 block of Sisters Avenue was arrested at 2 a.m. in the 0 block of West Street and Merrimac Circle, police said. She was charged with for two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, illegal lane use and operation of a vehicle while texting. Bail was set at $3,000.

Kathy Ann Carr, 50, of the 21000 block of W. Knollwood Court, Plainfield, was arrested at 12:44 a.m. in the 0 block of Plainfield/Naperville Road and Hassert Boulevard and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to give signal, illegal lane use, speeding over the limit and crossing the double yellow lines, according to police. Bail was $3,000.

Eric Alan Wells, 24, of the 0 block of S. 571 Boundary Hill Road, was arrested on at 12:48 a.m. in the 800 block of Rickert Drive and West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. His bail was set at $3,000.

Suspended license

Citali Tena, 32, of the 600 block of Galena Boulevard, Aurora, was arrested at 3:01 a.m. at 1698 W. Diehl Road and N. Route 59 and was charged with making an improper turn at an intersection, operating an uninsured vehicle and driving on a suspended/revoked license, police said. Bail was set at $2,000.

Stolen gasoline

It was reported at 3:32 p.m. in the 600 block of N. Route 59 that a thief stole $40.06 worth of gasoline, police said.

Burglary to vehicle

A resident reported at 6:29 p.m. in the 2700 block of Cripple Creek Court that an unlocked vehicle was entered overnight and many pieces of jewelry were taken, according to police.

Suspicious incident

A caller reported a suspicious incident in the 100 block of Testa Drive at 11:03 p.m. when they reported that a revolver was fired into the air, according to police. Police spoke with 10 to 15 people and there was no sign of a firearm. All of the people said they had no knowledge of a gun and said it may have been fireworks.

Driving under the influence

Abigale Athena Smith, 23, of the 2000 block of Alpine Drive, Boulder, Colo., was arrested at 1:13 a.m. in the 20 block of Aurora Avenue and Washington Street, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, not wearing a seat belt, improper lane use and driving on a suspended/revoked license. Bail was set at $3,000.

Eduardo Mendoza-Medina, 24, of the 900 block of Second Avenue, Aurora was arrested at 2:47 a.m. in the 300 block of W. Ogden Avenue and N. Mill Street, police said. He was charged with driving on a revoked/suspended license—second or more offense, aggravated driving under the influence for driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license, illegal possession/transportation of liquor by a driver, not driving on the right side of a four-lane highway, improper turn at an intersection and disobeying a traffic control signal. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Cassandra C. Summers, 49, of the 100 block of Gregory Street in Aurora was arrested at 3:37 a.m. in the 0 block of N. Route 59 and Meridian Park, police said. She was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, and improper lane use. His bail was set at $3,000.

Ismael Rodriguez, 41, of the 1100 block of Wishing Well Lane was arrested at 2:11 a.m. in the 70 block of W. 87th Street and Clyde Drive, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, failing to give a signal and improper lane use. His bail was set at $3,000.

Raymundo Pavon, 42, of the 25000 block of W. Sunnymere Drive, Plainfield, was arrested at 2:52 at W. Ogden Avenue and Fort Hill Drive and charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding over the limit, police said.

Richard William Ramsey, 41, of the 10 block of S. 325 Alan Road was arrested at 1:46 a.m. in the 0 block of E. 8th Avenue and N. Washington Street and charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding over the limit, police said. Bail was $3,000.

Kathleen Marie Drehs, 61, of the 2800 block of Normandy Circle was arrested at 1:44 a.m. in the 9700 block of 248th Avenue and Lapp Lane and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper parking on a roadway, according to police. Bail was $3,000.

Daniel R. Michel, 24, of the 900 block of Brooks End Court, was arrested at 3:12 a.m. in the 3000 block of Kentshire Circle and was charged on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and improper lane change without signal, police said. Bail was set at $3,000.

Suspended license

Gerald Edward Drye, 29, of the 2700 block of Shelly Lane, Aurora, was arrested at 12:18 a.m. in the 200 block of S. Washington Street and Jackson Avenue, police said.  He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, not wearing a seat belt and having an expired registration. His bail was set at $1,500.

Thomas A. Rodriguez, 24, of the 600 block of E. Kent Street, Streator, was arrested at 2:52 a.m. in the 700 block of S. Washington Street and Martin Avenue and was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, police said. Bail was set at $1,500.

Warrant

Stephen Michael Komoll, 21, of the 1600 block of Country Lakes Drive was arrested at 2:23 a.m. at his address and was charged on a warrant and for possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. Bail was $1,500.

Battery

Tad Thomas Johnson, 37, of the 2500 block of Overlook Court, Yorkville was arrested at 8:34 p.m. in the 1300 block of Aurora Avenue and charged with battery, police said. His bail was set at $7,500.

Assault

Morgan Katherine Rodriguez, 18, of the 100 block of N. Sleight Street was arrested at 12:34 p.m. at same address for assault, disorderly conduct and resisting a peace officer, police said. Her bail was $1,500. She was transported to the DuPage County Bond Court.

Stolen gasoline

In the 1500 block of S. Washington Street it was reported at 4:56 a.m. that $68.01 in octane fuel was stolen.

Property damage

A 35-year-old man in the 1000 block of Thurman Avenue reported that a mailbox was damaged between 8 p.m. Saturday and 6:48 a.m. Sunday, police said.

A 65-year-old man in the 1000 block of Thurman Avenue reported that between Saturday at 8 p.m. and 6:48 a.m. Sunday vandals struck his mailbox overnight, police said.

A 43-year-old man in the 1000 block of Thurman Avenue reported that between 8 p.m. Saturday and 6:48 a.m. Sunday vandals knocked over a mailbox and post, police said.

A 42-year-old woman in the 1000 block of Thurman Avenue reported between 8 p.m. Saturday and 6:48 a.m. Sunday that vandals knocked the mailbox off the post overnight, police said.

A 45-year-old man in the 100 block of Elmwood Drive reported that between Saturday at 10 p.m. and Sunday at 7 a.m. vandals—thought to be females — sprayed chocolate sauce, jelly, shaving cream and ranch dressing on the doors, vehicles and yard of the residence. The house also toilet paper tossed around it, police said.

Burglary to vehicle

A 47-year-old woman in the 0 block of N. Ellsworth Street reported that from 11 a.m. to midnight someone entered the unlocked vehicle and removed her purse from the backseat floor. The value was about $250, police said.

Vandalism

A 49-year-old man in the 0 block of E. Chicago Avenue reported at 8:49 p.m. that someone used a black Sharpie marker to draw a penis on the rear hatch and the front drivers side door of his 2006 Nissan Xterra, police said. A responding officer suggested the man purchase a magic eraser, which he did and it erased the drawing.

Stolen property

A 57-year-old man reported Sunday in the 600 block of N. Sleight Street that on June 2 a mail order package containing two books was delivered to his home and was taken sometime between 2:30 and 6 p.m., police said. A second package was delivered and was found near the downtown Naperville train station and returned to him by a “kind commuter,” according to the police report. That package had been opened but no contents were missing.  The value of the stolen books was $30.
