Police Blotter: Allegedly Speeding Under the Influence

Possession of marijuana

Meghan R. Welsh, 22, of the 100 block of Gregory Street in Aurora, was arrested around 11:40 a.m. near the intersection of South Route 59 and Audrey Avenue. Police said she was charged with driving without wearing a seat belt, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail was set at $120.

Michael J. Cusack, 21, of the 1100 block of Catherine Avenue in , was arrested around 6:40 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, 1350 Aurora Ave., on an original warrant, police said. He was charged with illegal lane use, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of between 2.5 grams and 10 grams of marijuana. His bail was set at $7,500.

Allegedly speeding under the influence

Police said Justin A. Mason, 33, of the 15200 block of Perry Road in Maple Park, was arrested around 11:15 p.m. near the intersection of South Route 59 and Audrey Avenue. He was charged with speeding over the statuary limit, driving on a suspended/revoked license, illegal possession of liquor by a driver and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was set at $3,000.

Warrant arrest

Police said Michael K. Fasshauer, 39, of the 2200 block of Summerlin Drive in Aurora, was arrested around 10 p.m. near the intersection of South Birchwood Drive and West Jefferson Avenue on a failure-to-appear warrant. His bail was set at $144.
