Police Blotter: 6 DUI Arrests, Identity Theft, Resourceful Thief

Naperville Police Department reports, Dec. 14 - 16

Suspended/revoked license

Vivian Katrina Turner-Weaver, 42, of the 200 block of Springbrook Trail South in Oswego, was arrested at 1:09 a.m. near North Route 59 and BNRR, Naperville Police Department said. She was charged with no insurance and driving on a suspended/revoked license. Her bail was $2,000

  • Brenda Gail Loth, 41, of the 2600 block of Wabash Court, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. near Wild Cherry Road and Aurora Avenue, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, disobeying stop sign and improper lane usage. Her bond was $300. 
  • Tami Lucibello, 41, of the 2800 block of Vernal Lane, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. near Wild Cherry Road and Aurora Avenue, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, no front/rear plate/permit display andfailure to give signal. Her bail was $3,000.
  • Nubia Buitrago Moreno, 57, of the 300 block of Odgen Falls Boulevard in Oswego, was arrested at 8:22 p.m. near Millbrook Drive and West 75th Street, police said. She was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal lane usage, no drivers license and failure to give signal. Her bail was $3,000.
  • Melvin Wayne Sleight, 47, of the 200 block of East Jefferson Avenue, was arrested at 11:24 p.m. near East Jefferson Avenue and South Brainard Street, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.
  • Pedro Losoya, 24, of the 1100 block of Plum Street in Aurora, was arrested at 1:59 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence and speeding.
  • Shawn Patrick Alesch, 28, of the 3100 block of Tealbay Court in Aurora, was arrested at 2:57 a.m. near Liberty Street and North Route 59, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and illegal lane usage. His bail was $3,000.

Warrant arrest

  • Michael Adolf Kollartis, 44, of the 2300 block of Willow Creek Drive in Golden, was arrested at 1:39 a.m. near Wild Cherry Road and Aurora Avenue, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant.
  • Joe Scott Martinez, 36, of the 1100 block of North Webster Street in Romeoville, was arrested at 11:15 p.m. near 10th Avenue and North Webster Street, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $10,000.

Possession of cannabis

Ryan P. Whipple, 30, of the 1400 block of Theodore Street in Crest Hill, was arrested at 9:57 p.m. in the 800 block of South West Street, police said. He was charged with possession drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis. His bail was $1,500.

Battery

  • Kirk David Stallworth, 43, of the 1500 block of West Jefferson Avenue, was arrested at 10:12 p.m. at his residence, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and battery. His bail was $1,500.
  • Uriel Cid, 24, of the 100 block of Olesen Drive was arrested at 11:03 p.m. at his residence, police said. He was charged with two counts of domestic battery and aggravated criminal sexual assault. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.
  • Kenny Thanh Doan 36, of the 900 block of Havenshire Court, was arrested at 9:27 a.m. in the 800 block of West 75th Street, police said. He was charged with domestic battery and transported to DuPage County Jail.
  • Aurelija Bagdziute, 20, of the 1500 block of Westminster Drive, was arrested at 5:12 a.m. at her residence, police said. She was charged with two counts of domestic battery and transported to DuPage County Jail.

Identity theft

Jeremiah Nygel Benjamin, 21, of the 100 block of Gregory Street in Aurora, was arrested at 12:10 p.m. near Dickens and Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with identity theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and use of another’s credit card. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.

Theft

Katherin Ruby Mejia, 18, of the 100 block of Gregory Street in Aurora, was arrested at 12:10 p.m. in the 1100 block of Iroquois Avenue, police said. She was charged with theft and criminal trespass to a vehicle. Her bail was $1,500.

Car vs. sign

A vehicle struck a street sign near Alton Court and South Naper Boulevard, police said.

Resourceful thief

Someone broke the side mirror of a car and used it to break the sliding door window of the victim's other vehicle. Tools and auto parts were stolen in the 1100 block of Johnson Drive. 

Cigarettes stolen

A white male in his 50s stole two packs of cigarettes in the 1500 block of Washington Street, police said.

Broken window

A window on the west side of a residence was broken in the 1200 block of North West Street, police said.

GPS stolen

A vehicle was entered overnight and a Garmin GPS was taken in the 1600 block of Westminster Drive, police said.

Purse lost

Someone lost a brown/tan Coach purse while shopping in downtown Naperville in the 100 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. 

Bah, humbug

Christmas decorations were taken from a front yard in 0-99 block of South Ewing Street, police said.
