Police Blotter: 5 Retail Theft Arrests, DUI, Car Ransacked, Graffiti

Naperville Police Department reports, Jan. 4 - 6

Friday, Jan. 4

Warrant arrest

  • Andrew George Newhall, 24, of the 300 block of Foxworth Court in Aurora, was arrested at 11:20 a.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. He was charged on a warrant. His bail was $3,000.
  • Alec Lawerance Hartman, 18, of the 1700 block of Frost Lane, was arrested at 9:22 p.m. at his residence, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant and transported to DuPage County Jail.

Obstructing identification

Dwayne Bennett, 53, of the 5400 block of South Marylane Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 4:34 p.m. in the 700 block of Fort Hill Drive. He was charged with obstructing identification. His bond was $150.

Forgery

Durell Melik Jackson, 20, of the 17400 block of Throop in East Hazel Crest, was arrested at 8:11 p.m. in the 1200 block of South Naper Boulevard, police said. He was charged with obstructing identification and forgery. His bond was $150.

Suspended/revoked license

  • Zachary David Bavol, 18, of the 800 block of Manchester Street, was arrested at 11:51 p.m. near Book and Schillinger, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, no insurance and violating the lamps and lights act. His bail was $2,000.
  • Jacqueline M. Allen, 63, of the 300 block of East Washington Street in West Chicago, was arrested at 8:57 p.m. near North Route 59 and North Aurora, police said. She was charged with three warrants and driving on a suspended/revoked license. Her bond was $150.

Retail theft

Gabriela Martinez De Leon, 49, of the 200 block of High Street in West Chicago, was arrested at 5:44 p.m. in the 700 block of South Route 59, police said. She was charged with retail theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Her bond was $150.

 

Saturday, Jan. 5

Retail theft

  • Mark David Olson, 43, of the 800 block of Hardin Avenue in Aurora, was arrested at 2:49 p.m. near North Mill Street and West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, failure-to-appear warrant and retail theft. His bond was $150.
  • Steven James Raudenbush, 27, of the 2700 block of South Prairire Ave in Chicago, was arrested at 1:07 a.m. in the 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with retail theft. His bond was $120.

Warrant arrest

Francisco Dominguez, 31, of the 1100 block of Andover Court, was arrested at 11:52 p.m. near West Ogden and West 5th Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, three warrants, obstructing identification, improper lane usage and no insurance. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.

Battery

  • Danielle Frasor, 33, of the 1300 block of Duke Drive, was arrested at 12:25 p.m. in the 800 block of South Washington Street, police said. She was charged with battery. Her bail was $1,500.
  • Michael Thom Lavallee, 23, of the 0-99 block of East Larkspur Lane in Bristol, was arrested at 1:56 a.m. in the 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with battery and resisting a peace officer. His bail was $1,500. 

Suspended/revoked license

  • Danny Hobbs, 23, of the 0-99 block of South Prairie Street in Batavia, was arrested at 8:03 a.m. near Tudor and North Aurora, police said. He was charged with registration expiration, driving on a suspended/revoked license and no insurance. His bail was $2,000.
  • Jason Ryan Mooi, 32, of the 2900 block of Bartlett Court, was arrested at 3:51 a.m. near 104th Street and Plainfield Naperville, police said. He was charged with defective side/rear/windshield, driving on a suspended/revoked license and failure to notify Secretary of State of address change. His bail was $1,500. 
  • Mark Eugene Kennedy, 36, of the 800 block of Potomac Avenue, was arrested at 9:44 p.m. near Naper Boulevard and East Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $1,500.

Possession of cannabis

Charles Tyrone Johnson, 20, of the 2900 block of Rutland Circle, was arrested at 12:28 a.m. in the 1300 block of Aurora Avenue, police said. He was charged with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis. His bond was $120.

Driving under the influence

William Joseph Cremer, 56, of the 1600 block of Dublin Drive, was arrested at 10:14 p.m. near Hassert Boulevard and Chokeberry Drive, police said. He was charged with improper lane usage and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.

 

Sunday, Jan. 6

Retail theft

  • Adrian Martinez, 24, of the 0-99 block of Breckenridge Drive in Aurora, was arrested at 2:02 a.m. in the 0-99 block of East Chicago Avenue, police said. He was charged with retail theft. His bond was $120.
  • Megan Kathleen McCarthy, 28, of the 2300 block of New Haven Court, was arrested at 8:36 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. She was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and retail theft. Her bail was $1,500.

Fighting

Andrew Charles Malek, 24, of the 1700 block of Windward Avenue, was arrested at 1:14 a.m. in the 0-99 block of Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with fighting. His bond was $120.

Driving under the influence

  • Andrew james Zelasko, 20, of the 1600 block of Fordham Court, was arrested at 10:29 p.m. in the 1700 block of Drake Court, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of drugs. His bail was $3,000. 
  • Robert Joseph Raimondi, 42, of the 4000 block of Schillinger Drive, was arrested at 2:31 a.m., police said. He was charged with failure to give a signal, no insurance and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.

Graffiti

Black permanent marker was used to write an unknown symbol on an electrical box near Chicago and Olesen, police said. It is unknown if the writing is gang related.

Criminal damage

Criminal damage to property was reported in the 1900 block of Springside Drive, police said.

Car ransacked

The interior of a vehicle was ransacked and an undetermined amount of money was taken in the 600 block of Balmoral Circle, police said.

Clubhouse broken into

A window was broken to gain access to a clubhouse and an interior door of a workout room was broke in the 1600 block of Country Lakes Drive, police said.

Neighbor wars

A neighborhood dispute between residents over children making noise was reported in the 1900 block of Carlsbad Circle, police said. One party claims the other kicked her door, splitting the door frame, the last time they were over.

GPS, iPad stolen

A GPS, iPad, money and a lock-nut key were taken from a vehicle in the 600 block of Balmoral Circle, police said.
