Police Blotter: 4 Fighting Arrests, Stolen Stroller, Aggravated Battery

Naperville Police Department reports, Nov. 30 - Dec. 2

Warrant arrest

Walter L. Eggleston, 22, of the 16000 block of Hooks Court in South Holland, was arrested at 4:03 a.m. in the 1600 block of Estate Circle, Naperville Police Department said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. His bond was $400.

  • John Francis Meuret, 52, of the 1700 block of Napoloen Drive, was arrested at 1:14 a.m. near Washington and West Bailey, police said. He was charged with illegal lane usage, improper turn at an intersection, resisting a peace officer and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.
  • Cheryl Ann Butler, 51, of the 3600 block of Jubilant Court, was arrested at 11:21 p.m. Osler Drive and West Street, police said. She was charged with failure to yield, two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to give signal. Her bail was $3,000.

Fighting 

  • Denzil Danny Bell, 31, of the 700 block of Royal Saint George Drive, was arrested at 12:49 a.m. in the 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with fighting. His bond was $120.
  • Imari Samuel Sharpe, 26, of the 700 block of Royal Saint George Drive, was arrested at 12:49 a.m. in the 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with fighting. His bond was $120.
  • Joshua John Meschino, 23, of the 1100 block of North Brainard Street, was arrested at 12:41 a.m. in the 0-99 block of Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with fighting. His bond was $120.
  • Alec John Schneider, 22, of the 1400 block of Greenlake Drive in Aurora, was arrested at 1:48 a.m. in the 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with fighting. His bond was $120.

Aggravated battery to peace officer

Sean Thomas Brutto, 23, of the 2300 block of Flambeau Drive, was arrested at 3:03 a.m. in the 700 block of East Hillside Drive, police said. He was charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer, aggravated assault, resisting a peace officer and knowingly damaging property. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.

Possession of cannabis

  • Michael Forrest Paige, 19, of the 5S 500 block of Bonnie Court, was arrested at 10:26 p.m. in the 1500 block of Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis. His bail was $1,500.
  • Bryan Andre McBride, 33, of the 1100 block of Surrey Drive in Glen Ellyn, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. near Beaver Drive and Brookdale Drive, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis. His bail was $1,500.

Possession of a controlled substance

Stephen Patrick Storino, 22, of the 500 block of Warwick Drive, was arrested at 4:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Inland Court, police said. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Stolen GPS, CDs

Someone reported that after a valet parked his vehicle, someone had stolen his Garmin GPS and 10 CDs in the 800 block of South Washington Street, police said.

Redbox damaged

A video screen for a Redbox machine was damaged in the 600 block of Amersale Drive, police said. 

Rental car hit

Someone reported her rental vehicle was hit while parked in the 2600 block of West 75th Street, police said.

Window broken

  • Someone broke a back window of a house in the 200 block of Westbrook Cricle, police said.
  • A business park garage window was smashed in the 3300 block of Lacrosse Lane, police said.

Stoller stolen

A stroller and an unknown amount of baby clothes were stolen in the 1900 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said.

Ring stolen

A woman's ring was taken from a boutique store in the 200 block of South Washington Street, police said.

Change stolen

Someone took $10 in change from an unlocked vehicle in the 600 block of Dana Court, police said.

Misc. items stolen

Golf clubs, a Tom Tom GPS and a mechanics stool were taken from an unlocked gold Chevrolet Impala in the 600 block of Dana Court, police said.
