The owner of a car found someone rummaging through the vehicle in the 800 block of Livingston Court, police said. The suspect left on foot and nothing was taken.
Cash and run
Someone entered a written contract to do landscaping and provided a check, which was cashed. However, the suspect never returned to do the work in the 2100 block of Buckley Court, police said.
Half cabbie, half superhero
Reggional Jevon Williams, 20, of the 1400 block of 18th Avenue in Maywood, was arrested at 9:22 p.m. in the 100 block of Testa Drive, police said. He was charged with theft of labor/services after fleeing a cab without paying for a $77.05 fare. After running, the driver caught the offender and detained him until police arrived. He was transported to DuPage County Bond Court.
