Naperville Police to Get In-Car Cameras, Will Make Technology Upgrades

The Naperville Police Department will make several technology upgrades in 2014. 

The Daily Herald reports the police department will install in-car cameras in 2014 and accompanying software, which will provide video and audio recording technologyThe new equipment should be ready to go  by March, according to the Daily Herald. 

The police department will upgrade cell phones for detectives and supervisors from flip phone to iPhones and also plans to upgrade its citizen online reporting system that should make reporting a crime more easy, according to the article.
