Police release results of recent enforcement campaign.

The Naperville Police Department issued more than 200 citations during a recent "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" enforcement campaign, including 8 drunk driving arrests.

As a result of the campaign, a total of 205 citations, including 54 seat belt citations, were issued from Aug. 16 through Sept. 2, according to the Naperville Police Department.

“I am proud of our officers for their hard work and dedication to making our community’s road safer,” said Sgt. Al Trotsky in a press release. “Drunk driving is more than a reckless choice by a few individuals. Each year, drunk driving costs the lives of thousands on America’s highways."
