Naperville Police Charge Two After Heroin Investigation

Naperville police arrested two Chicago residents on Thursday who they said were involved in local drug deals.

ended a one-month long investigation Thursday with the arrest of two Chicagoans who they said were involved with local drug trafficking.

The investigation centered on the Naperville Police Department Special Operation Group's suspicion that Jermaine M. Moore, 19, of Chicago, was selling heroin in and around , police said.

"The suspect was arrested after he brought approximately 20 grams of heroin with an estimated street value of $4,000.00 to sell in Naperville," stated a Naperville police news release sent on Friday.

Police said that Moore, whose address is listed as being in the 3100 block of West 15th Street in Chicago, was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, a Class X felony punishable by up to 30 years in prison. He was also charged with resisting arrest, a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail.

Kymtika D. Moore, 20, of the 3200 block of West Douglas Boulevard in Chicago, was also arrested, police said. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance, a Class 1 felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
