Naperville Police regularly scour the Internet searching for suspected prostitution activity, which led to charges Thursday.

The question, as always, with a prostitution sting story: where are the arrests of the "johns"? Patronizing a prostitute is a Class A misdemeanor, just like prostitution. The only way to end prostitution is to end the demand. People should not be for sale. Also, If those charged with pandering are the pimps, why aren't they charged with pimping?

I agree busting these girls and not providing them with any services what so ever is doing nothing at all! All you are doing is continuing the cycle! The police are doing it for the money. In order to stop prostitution you need to bust the johns and pimps the demand in this whole cycle! Take the women's money, cars, phones etc ..... what is that doing? charging her and making her pay fines what is that doing? forcing her to continue to work to get money! If you are going to do a sting against women please 1st know what u are doing and know something about the reason women are involved and second have an organization help these women!

I am a John and oppose legalization of prostitution. I can see the trend with legalization of vice. The trade will shift from the poor person, and middle class to big corporation to control the trade. One time gambling was illegal in most places in United States. Homeboys down the neighborhood were able to make money from the trade. Since the Casino came in, the homeboys were put out of business. This will happen with prostitution. In NV, prostitution is legalized in licensed brothel. Only businessman with big money can afford the licensing fees and the overhead. This takes the trade from the poor and the middle class. This will happen if we legalize weed and prostitution. There will be Wal*** style low prices that put the homegrown business out of business. Keeping it illegal make sure that big corporation cannot do the trade.

the pimps should not only be charged with pandering, but battery if they have abused the women. Pimps are the epitome of a parasite on society. they should be dealt with accordingly. The ladies should be required to get counseling and alcohol or drug treatment assistance

Naperville police conducting prostitution stings on low class escorts. Good job!! This helps the escort agencies to beat their competition. Now it is more lucrative to operate escort/modeling agencies. There are 100+ escort/modeling agencies operating in Cook County, IL and many times police turn a blind eye to their operations. Check out the web and you will find there are many agencies operating in Cook County, IL that will send a girl to your room. Prostitution will not be extinct anytime soon. The war on prostitution targets low class women. High price call girls get away because they have powerful connection with powerful men that will make sure the girls do not get sting. The war on prostitution will fall into hypocrisy.
