Police Blotter: Ferret on the Loose, Criminal Trespass, DUI, Retriever Mix Found

Driving under the influence 

  • Christopher Brian McAdams, 29, of the 2900 block of Waters Edge Circle in Aurora, was arrested at 10:49 p.m. in the 1800 block of North Aurora Road, Naperville Police Department said. He was charged with no insurance, no driver's license, improper stopping without a signal, squealing/screeching tires, illegal lane usage and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.
  • Jackson Tyler Sorrell, 21, of the 1600 block of Carlyle Road, was arrested at 10:24 p.m. near Bayhill Avenue and South Naper Boulevard, police said. He was charged with no driver's license, operating a vehicle without insurance, expired registration, using unsafe tires and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.

Forgery

Dustin Michael Dennis, 18, of the first block of Boulevard Se in Atlanta, was arrested at 7:34 p.m. in the 200 block of South Route 59, police said. He was charged with forgery, obstructing justice/induce witness. His bail was $1,500.

Criminal trespass

Matthew Edward McCreedy, 26, of the 0S700 block of Ellyn Avenue in Glen Ellyn, was arrested at 11:18 p.m. in the 1500 block of West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with criminal trespass to land. His bail was $1,500.

Suspended/revoked license

Dammon Lamar Miller, 33, of the 300 block of Pine Avenue in Aurora, was arrested at 3:56 a.m. in the 1600 block of North Route 59, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bond was $150.

Vandalism

Engine compartment wires were cut overnight in the 1900 block of Jefferson Avenue, police said. 

Lost cat

A lost cat was reported in the 3500 block of Eliot Lane, police said.

Lost ferret 

A lost ferret was reported in the 2700 block of Alyssa Drive, police said.

You'll shoot your eye out

A black Daisy bb pistol “Powerline" .177 caliber powered bb gun was found in the bushes in the east side of 248th Street, police said.

Missing phone

A phone was reported missing in the 2300 block of 95th Street, police said.

Stolen electronics

A Nintendo 3DS and DVD player were stolen from an apartment in the 700 block of Inland Circle, police said.

Retriever mix found

A black, neutered male Retriever mix with a shaved coat an an AVID chip was impounded in the 1200 block of Lakewood Circle, police said.

Attempted burglary

An attempted burglary to an apartment was reported 700 block Inland Circle, but no one entered, police said.

Stolen license plate

A rear license plate was stolen in the 600 block of Oakhurst Drive, police said.
