Naperville Man Receives 44 Day Sentence in Child Porn Case

Naperville man sentenced in child pornography case.

A Naperville man was given a $14,000 fine and sentenced to time already served in a child pornography case, the Naperville Sun reported.

Mitchell James Brady pled guilty to a single count of child pornography possession in the case, the newspaper reported. Brady was sentenced to 44 days in jail, the amount of time he served after having been arrested last year.

Brady, 50, originally was charged with multiple counts of aggravated child pornography, a class X felony. The charges were the result of a two-month investigation, Patch previously reported. Inside Brady's home, police said videos and images of children under the age of 13 engaged in sexual conduct were found.

The Naperville Sun reported that the more serious charges were dropped as part of the plea deal.
