Naperville Man Faces Drug-Related Charges

Naperville police arrested a local man early Wednesday after searching his home and finding drugs and paraphernalia.

Bail for a man was set at $50,000 Wednesday after he was arrested following a three-month investigation.

Justin D. Boykins, 30, of the 700 block of Royal St. George Drive in Naperville was arrested around 1:45 a.m. at his home and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful use of recorded sounds or images and delivery of between 10 and 30 grams of marijuana.

Police issued a warrant for Boykins, they said, after searching his apartment and finding evidence that supported the charges.

"During the confiscation of that evidence, investigators came across several pirated movies, which is what the recorded sounds and images charge stems from," said Sgt. Gregg Bell.

Boykins remained in custody around 4 p.m. at the DuPage County Jail.
