Naperville Man Dies After Truck Falls Through Ice in Wisconsin

A Naperville man was found dead in Wisconsin Friday after the truck he was driving broke through ice in a creek, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Edward Steinhardt, 30, had been reported missing Dec. 23 by a trucking business. The newspaper reported that a GPS system located the truck in Washburn County, Wisconsin.

The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported that the truck was found partially submerged in the Dilly Lake area near the Town of Crystal. Steinhardt's body was not found in the truck, but in a creek about a half mile away, the newspaper reported.

The Duluth News Tribune reported that Steinhardt drove across ice on Dilly Lake and headed south on Potato Creek before the truck went through the ice.
