So the solution would be: We need to get really tough with these people (perverts) allow their jail mates to take care of them. Until we get tougher, it is not going to change. Abuse of a child will forever destroy their lives, we need to think of the children and not the abusers. It needs to stop, no matter what country they are from. When there is cancer in someone's body they don't treat just a small portion, they treat the entire cancer. The same holds true for these criminals.

Where do I begin, schmoe? Well first, God told me to write back to you! Does this article say 'teen'? No, it says children. About your comment that it might have been a "careless gesture"...wrong, on every level, this was an initiative act. If she had frozen, in fear, rather than telling her parents, he very well might have continued to gesture carelessly with his other body parts. I know 'many' 15 year olds that do not have an active sex life but that is not even relevant. If she had a multitude of sex partners but he did that without asking and after luring her to his apartment with candy, it was wrong. Do you really believe that because a female has a sexual partner, she is fair game for anyone who wants to 'taste' her. Wrong, wrong, wrong and you need to go to a life skills class to learn to respect the boundaries of not only
women but, more importantly, female children. That letter smacked of 'she asked for it because she was a teen who's had sex". Now, maybe you need to do some talking to the God you mentioned about negativity on the internet and work on your judgement you American pervert.

Whether he is legal or not, it all starts with each of us. We the People are allowing our elected reps to do as they please with our tax dollars. Obummer has brought 2 law suits (you and I pay for this) against states that want to uphold the current illegal immigration laws. Move all them out next election because they do not represent us. The KoolAid drinking reps are also thinking about selling 50 sq. mi. of Idaho to the communist Chinese government, so we can get tax-free Chinese made goods from a Chinese city in America. first why was the "children going to a groan mans apartment in the first place and in his bed room I just don't get that part. there is too much information via tv,internet, radio cellphones about the potential dangers for children out there. John, you can just walk in and not become a citizen. I did, over 23 years ago, and I'm still a British citizen and always will be. No offence is meant to the US, but wherever I live in the world my heritiage & nationality is British. That's who I am. Like most Americans, I am proud of my country. Why am I here? Because I fell in love with an American and it was easier for me to live here than for him to live in the UK. Having left my family, friends and country, I wasn't prepared to give up my nationality. If I became a US citizen I would have to swear under oath to renounce my previous nationality. The UK and US have similar freedoms and rights; one is not better than the other. The only advantage I would have as a US citizen is the right to vote. I had to prove to Immigration that I could support myself, that I was healthy and that I was legally married. If I had come here to escape poverty, a dictatorship, persecution, war, etc. then I would have become a US citizen but that was not the case.
As for the accused in this story, he deserves to be put in prison for what he did to the children and I am so glad that the kids are safe. Too many situations like this end horribly. As you say, God Bless all of us.

Please don't confuse a child molester ("pervert" in your words, I would agree) with either someone that cross dresses, or is bi-polar. Most cross-dressers are not child molesters (nor do I think they are "perverts," though I suppose some conservative thinkers would), nor are those diagnosed bi-polar prone to be.
(How does an immigrant walk? Weren't most of our families immigrants at one time? Mine were probably here before yours, as some were native Americans.)

How old are these children? Did their mother teach them not to talk to strangers? The problem is not if he is hispanic, american, chinese, the problem is the mother not teaching their children, and if they teach them, they were not paying attention! He deserves a long time in jail. And the mothers should reinforce the kids not to talk or follow strangers, not even for money, chocolate, .toys, or whatever. Hope the kids are ok!

Kate, people who have such illogical logic also have no idea what is true. First, how many illegal Canadians with Anglo-Saxox or French names are illegal in the U.S.? Ergo, those names do not fit into the catagory. Second, how many Spanish/Mexican (can be one, or both) fit that catagory of illegals? So, were I to see a young person with a Spanish surname, I may be wrong in my assumption about that particular individual, but not in my assumption they COULD be illegal. Take your name, because it is spelled with a "K", it can not be a Welsh name, as there is no K in Welsh, but....... it could be an Analogized Welsh name... Confused yet?

Patricia, yes, this experience is going to leave a scar in this children's memory bank. But it will be nothing compared to what might have happened if these children had not run out when they did. They are lucky that his guy might have just been toying with the idea of molesting children. He probably the type that wants to seduce children as opposed to outright rape them by force. It will still be rape, statutory rape. I will always say that, if you meant to do wrong, but were stopped by whatever circumstances, out of your will, the criminal might as well be punished as if he had done the deed. Put this sicko away for a long time. Kidnapping is kidnapping, even if you were under the influence. I know that a scummy lawyer will try to work a deffense saying that he was not in control of his mental faculties but he was thinking well enough to find a way to lure 2 little kids into the Privacy of His Home. And he was lucid enough to drive and realize that these were 2 naive, defenselees children for him to abuse. Mother, why were your small children out in the street, uncared for and unsupervised? You need to assume some responsibility instead of just leaving all up to the police to do your mothering and caring.
