Naperville Home Damaged by Fire

No one was injured in a fire reported at 1:34 p.m. Monday at 414 Brad Court in Naperville, according to a Naperville Police Department press release. 

Naperville’s Public Safety Answering Point received a report of the blaze from a resident at the home Monday afternoon. 

Fire officials first on scene reported moderate smoke coming from the residence and a visible fire showing from the second-floor bedroom window of the two-story, wood-frame home, according to the news release.

Firefighters entered the home and were able to extinguish the blaze within 10 minutes, according to the press release. 

No one was injured in the fire. The home has less than $40,000 in damage and is currently habitable.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation but is not considered to be suspicious. 

The Naperville Fire Department was assisted at the scene by the Department of Transportation and Engineering Department, along with the Naperville Police Department and the Electric Department.
