Naperville Fire Department Responds to Christmas Morning Fire

Fire contained primarily to garage, but officials must determine if the house is habitable.

Fire fighters responded to an early Christmas morning fire that resulted in approximately $125,000 worth of damage to a Naperville home.

Shortly before 4:30 this morning multiple units responded to a fire at a residence at 27W140 96th Court to battle the reported blaze. Most of the fire was confined to an attached two-car garage, but fire officials said fire did extend into the attic of the house. It took units approximately 20 minutes to extinguish the fire, officials said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
