Man Struck and Killed by SUV in Aurora

A man was killed Saturday after being struck by an SUV in Aurora, Sun-Times Media reported.

The newspaper reported that the man was walking south on Broadway Avenue, near Spring Street when he was hit around 4 a.m.

The man has not been identified, but was described as being in his 30s or 40s. The driver of the SUV was identified as Cherise Wardlow, 39, of Montgomery who was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
