Two Joliet brothers, planning a robbery under the guise of a drug deal, shot an Aurora man to death in a restaurant restroom, Aurora police said.

Jaquan D. Hosey-Green, 19, and Dimitri J. Hosey Green, 18, of the 1200 block of Fairfield, were charged with first-degree murder Wednesday in connection with the Monday slaying of 20-year-old Arin T. Williams, according to a story in the Daily Herald.

The pair reportedly told Williams they wanted to purchase drugs from him and accompanied him to a restaurant on North Lake Street in Aurora to make the deal, police told the paper. In the restroom, however, the brothers attacked Williams with the intent of robbing him, police said.

Dimitri Hosey-Green is accused of pulling out a gun and shooting Williams in the head, the story said.

After the shooting, the brothers ran to a relative's apartment in the same block as the restaurant to hide evidence from the crime and and were then driven back to Joliet by a family member, police told the Daily Herald.

Based on information provided by witnesses, police were able to recover the hidden evidence and tracked the brothers to Cicero, where they were in hiding, the story said.

Both men appeared in Kane County Circuit Court Thursday morning, where bond was set at $1.5 million for Dimitri Hosey-Green and $1 million for Jaquan Hosey-Green.
