Investigation Continues Into Blaze at Naperville-Area Luxury Home

The owners of the home were out of town at the time of the blaze, according to media reports.

The cause of a blaze at a Naperville-area luxury home Sunday remains under investigation, according to the Naperville Sun.

Firefighters were called to the blaze at 23W786 Hobson Road at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday after a passerby noticed smoke coming form the home, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The owners of the home were out of town at the time of the blaze and home has been deemed uninhabitable, the Naperville Sun reports. The fire was contained mainly to the basement of the residence but there was smoke damage throughout the nearly 6,000-square-foot house.

No one was injured in the fire, according to the Chicago Tribune.

County address... COMED service. Not on smart grid. Also, this home is in the Lisle Woodridge Fire District service area.

But seriously, when was the last time you saw the cause - or even the suspected cause - of a fire reported for any incident?

You need to excuse Mr Schilling's confusion regarding County addresses and unincorporated areas. He still thinks these residents, who do not pay Naperville taxes or receive Naperville city services, should have been allowed to demand a referendum within incorporated Naperville for smart meters.

You don't need to apologize for me Bobby. Tyranny is the same regardless of weather it is on the boarder or in collusion with our city leaders. BTW ComEd is putting in smart meters all over the area as we speak. Did this house have one or not is the question?

Arnie Naperville doesn't typically tell us anything unless we FOIA the information and as a matter of fact demands that we do so because they wont answer simple questions. Our Fire department still hasn't released the investigative results on the fire that killed 3 people earlier this year. On non-electrical fires they Dx the cause immediately unless arson is involved.
