Heroin Problem Hits Neighboring Communities

Police in Plainfield made a heroin-related bust Tuesday, charging a 19-year-old woman with manufacture and delivery.

While Naperville Police , neighboring communities are also dealing with similar challenges.

On Tuesday, , charging a 19-year-old woman with four counts of manufacture/delivery of 10 to 15 grams of heroin. A 49 year-old-man, Mark P. Stephanites, who lived at the house was charged with illegal possession of 15 or more grams of cocaine, possession of explosives/incendiary devices and unlawful use of weapons, according to Will County.

The 19-year-old, , would travel to Chicago every couple of days to buy hundreds of dollars’ worth of the drug, Illinois State Police Master Sgt. Mark Weber said Wednesday.
