Four Charged in Armed Robbery, Home Invasion

Naperville police say intruders forcibly entered home, then threatened woman and her 2-year-old child.

Three men and a 15-year-old have all been charged in a home invasion and armed robbery that took place in the 1400 block of Fairway Drive at about 5:21 p.m. Tuesday, according to Naperville police.

Naperville police were told that a robbery had just occurred in the 1400 block of Fairway Drive and responded immediately to the location where they found the victim who explained that three men had forcibly entered her home, according to a news release from Naperville Police Sgt. Gregg Bell.

“According to the victim, one of the suspects was armed with a gun and threatened to shoot her and her 2-year-old child,” the news release said.

Brandon Reynolds, 15, no address given, was arrested Tuesday night after Naperville police were able to identify him in connection with the incident, Bell said in the news release. Reynolds was charged as an adult based on a recommendation from the DuPage County State’s Attorneys Office.

Thursday the three other men were arrested in connection with the crime, according to police.

Robert Lee Jackson, 24, of the 100 block of Del Mar Drive, Bolingbrook; Kendyl Wayne Gill, 17, of the 2300 block of Autumn Grove Circle, Aurora; and Clarence Abraham Guyton, 19, of the 900 block of Fairway Drive in Naperville were all arrested Thursday.

All four men were charged with residential burglary, a Class 1 felony, home invasion—armed, using force, a Class X felony and armed robbery, a Class X felony.

The men were taken DuPage County Jail, according to Bell.
