DuPage Sheriff Launches 'Manhunt Monday' Program

Each Monday the DuPage Sheriff's Office will highlight one criminal being sought after for having outstanding warrants. Here's this week's edition.

The DuPage County Sheriff's Office will put a special spotlight on offenders through a new weekly program called "Manhunt Monday."

Each Monday the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office will highlight one criminal, who is being sought after for having outstanding warrants.

"On 'Manhunt Monday' the Sheriff’s Office will release information regarding one of the most wanted criminals out of DuPage County," DuPage Sheriff John Zaruba said in a Monday news release. "My agency will release the suspect’s charges, description, photo and request the public’s assistance for information. Please remember these suspects are wanted for criminal charges and need to be apprehended by law enforcement."

This week the Sheriff’s Office is looking for Adwaitkumar Pathak, 32, with a last known address on the 600 block of Colonial Lane, Des Plaines.

Pathak is wanted for failure to appear at his 2010 court case in connection to charges of indecent solicitation of a child, grooming and attempted aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

Pathak is 6’ tall, 133 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes, according to police. If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Pathak, please contact the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office at 630-407-2400.
