DuPage Co. Man Arrested for Fleeing Cops, Crashing Into Car, Bus Shelter in Chicago

A 23-year-old Addison man is charged with aggravated fleeing following a police chase in Chicago over the weekend and is accused of crashing his car into a vehicle, injuring its passengers, and then colliding with a bus shelter, according to the Daily Herald.

A $50,000 bail was set Sunday for Kristian Hoddenbach who is accused of initiating the police chase at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday on the west side of Chicago after police stopped him for a traffic violation and then noticed a handgun in his vehicle, according to the article. 

A 28-year-old woman was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital in serious-to-crtical condition and a 2-year-old in the vehicle that was hit was in stable in condition while another adult and child were taken to the hospital and were reportedly in good condition, according to ABC7 Chicago.
