Divers Called After Car Plunges Into Water Saturday Morning in Naperville

Two victims were pulled from the water around 3 a.m. Saturday and taken to a hospital.

Divers pulled two victims from a quarry early Saturday morning after their car crashed through a fence and into the water near Aurora Avenue and South Eagle Drive in Naperville.

The accident took place after 2 a.m. The victims were taken to a hospital. Fire officials told WGN the car was submerged in water up to 70 feet deep. Naperville Fire Department as well as rescuers from the Lisle-Woodridge Fire District responded.
