Disgruntled Employee Speeds Off in Golf Cart: Naperville Police Blotter

Naperville Police Department reports, Aug. 21

Wednesday, Aug. 21

No insurance

Jeffrey Eric Kranz, 34, of Sheridan, was arrested at 1:47 a.m. near Jefferson Avenue and North Route 59, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance. He posted bond. 

DUI

Daniel Agusto Martin, 26, of West Chicago, was arrested at 11:50 a.m. in the 400 block of South Birchwood Drive, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and transported to Dupage County Jail. 

Retail theft

Alexis A. Thompson, 20, of Ottawa, was arrested at 12:26 p.m. in the 2500 block of West 75th Street, police said. She was charged with retail theft. She posted bond. 

Disorderly conduct 

Marco Aguilar-Herrera, 18, of Aurora, was arrested at 3:34 p.m. in the 800 block of Benedetti Drive, police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct. He posted bond. 

Suspended/revoked license

Alejo Martinez Davila, 62, of Naperville, was arrested at 4:18 p.m. near Modaff Road and West 75th Street, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. He posted bond. 

Warrant

Deanna Bisconti, 31, of Plainfield, was arrested at 5:54 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. She was charged on a warrant. She posted bond. 

Criminal damage

Phillip Kenneth Heade, 52, of Naperville, was arrested at 7:36 p.m. in the 700 block of West Gartner Road, police said. He was charged with criminal damage to property. He posted bond. 

Time to switch to e-cigarettes 

An employee became upset with her office manager for propping the fire door open while she smoked outside in the 4000 block of Idlewild Lane, police said. The employee then stole the wooden door stop her manager used to prop the door open and sped off in the manager's EZ-Go golf cart with it. The employee later gave a police officer a ride on the golf cart to find the door stop in an open field where she threw it.

Prescription pills stolen

20-25 tablets of prescription Hydrocodone-APA were stolen from a bag while the owner of the bag was at either Jewel or Dominick's in the 1700 block of Clyde Drive, police said. 

Burglary

  • Money was reported stolen from a home in the 1800 block of Paxton Drive, police said.
  • Cash and collector coins were stolen from a home in the 1600 block of Albermarle Court, police said. 
  • A home was entered and burglarized via unsecured garage door in the 1000 block of Lakewood Circle, police said. 
Car entered

A unsecured 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer was entered in the 1100 block of Lakewood Circle, police said. 

iPhone stolen

An Apple iPhone was stolen from a restaurant in the 900 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said. 

Violin stolen

A violin was reported stolen from a music camp in the 1700 block of Napoleon Drive, police said.
