Lug nuts are the new car stereo

A 26-year-old man in the 2900 block of White Thorn Circle reported that in January two vehicles were keyed and now he discovered the lug nuts were missing, police said.

Creeping peeper

Steven Richard Meyers, 37, of 1000 block of Hillcrest Lane in Woodridge, was arrested at 10:21 p.m. in the 1600 block of Country Lakes Drive, police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct and unlawful window peeping. He was seen peeping into a woman’s home on three different occasions. The most recent incident took place while she was on the phone with police. He was found behind the building and was arrested. His bond was $1,500.
