A man and woman were arrested when they refused to leave a local motel after getting kicked out of their room for smoking weed, reports said.

Naperville Police arrived at the Sleepy Inn at 1831 Diehl Road around 7:24 a.m. Feb. 21.

Fatima Robertson, 23, allegedly gave a false name due to a warrant for attempted robbery. Police later found cannabis hidden inside her sock in the squad car, reports said.

Robertson, of Yorkville, was charged with possession of cannabis. Her companion, Willie Palmer, 32, of Brookfield, was cited with disorderly conduct.

The following incidents were reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where arrests are included, it does not indicate a conviction.
