The City of Naperville has activated its Emergency Operations Center in response to the storm system moving through the area Tuesday evening.

Some streets reportedly have excessive water due to the storm, which may lead to possible flooding.

Streets that are affected include Naper Blvd and 75th Street, Naper Blvd and Dunrobin, River Rd between Rickert and Oswego, Main Street and 6th Ave, North Ave between Huffman and Charles, North Aurora and Frontenac, Columbia Street at Porter, West St and Emerald. Drivers should avoid these areas.

Residents are warned not to remove manholes covers as this has the potential to flood basements immediately.
