Police later learned Michael Ingram was traveling south on I-355 just north of Ogden Avenue when he allegedly switched lanes, cutting off Atkins and forcing his vehicle onto the shoulder of the road.

Atkins is then accused of pulling his vehicle alongside the driver’s side of Ingram’s vehicle, pointing a handgun at Ingram and pulled the trigger, hitting Ingram’s vehicle in the driver’s side rear passenger door, according to the news release.
