Arsonist, Burglar Sought in Separate Incidents

Naperville Crimestoppers is offering rewards for information related to an incident of arson and a vehicle burglary.

A recent case of arson and a vehicle burglary have Naperville Crimestoppers seeking information from residents about the two separate incidents.

A homeowner was more than the victim of an egging, when not only was a home egged but vehicles were also burned.

Naperville Crimestoppers is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest in the incident, which took place on Sept. 10 between midnight and 7 a.m. The incident was reported and appeared in the Naperville Police .

A home was egged and two vehicles had fires started on them while they were parked in the driveway of the home in the 2400 block of New Haven Drive, police said.

The damage to the home and vehicles was estimated at about $2,300, police said.

In another incident, Naperville Crimestoppers is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest in the theft of musical instruments.

A van belonging to the Tyler Farr Band was burglarized some time between 9:30 p.m. Sept. 4 and 6 a.m. Sept. 5, police said.

Someone entered the van while it was parked near the Hotel Arista and stole the following guitars: a Paul Reed Smith Custom 22, a Fender Tele-Custom Electric Guitar, a Goldfish Mini Electric Guitar, and a Martin Dreadneck Acoustic Guitar, according to .

Anyone with information in either of these incidents is asked to call Naperville Crimestoppers at 630-420-6006. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to arrests in each of these incidents.
