8 DUI Arrests; Last Fling Carnival Employee Charged: Naperville Police Blotter

Naperville Police Department reports, Aug. 31 - Sept. 2

Saturday, August 31

DUI

  • Blaine Alan Hummert, 29, of Plainfield, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. in the 800 block of North Washington Street, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond.
  • Timothy Patrick Dawe, 31, of Yorkville, was arrested at 1:50 a.m. near East Ogden and North Ellsworth, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond.
  • Anna Marie Ruberti, 24, of Aurora, was arrested at 3:03 a.m. in the 1200 block of Chalet Road, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. She posted bond.

Warrant

Sean William Garris, 23, of Naperville, was arrested at 9:27 p.m. near Jackson Avenue and South Eagle Street, police said. He was charged with fugitive from justice and transported to DuPage County Jail. Police said he was a carnival employee working during Naperville's Last Fling who allegedly had a warrant out in Pennsylvania.

Criminal trespass

Jacob Patrick Neuner, 18, of Orland Park, was arrested at 10:57 p.m. in the 1500 block of Shenandoah Lane, police said. He was charged with criminal trespass to a vehicle. He posted bond.

Sunday, Sept. 1

Possession of a false ID

Aastha Rupesh Shah, 19, of Naperville, was arrested at 12:50 a.m. in the 0-99 block of West Chicago Avenue, police said. She was charged with possession of a false ID. She posted bond.

Suspended/revoked license

Shaun Donald Springer, 20, of North Aurora, was arrested at 1:25 a.m. near Jackson Avenue and South Washington, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.

  • Jose Octavio Pacheco, 32, of Yorkville, was arrested at 2:23 a.m. near West Ogden and Benedetti, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond.
  • Jordan Mykahl Patrick, 22, of Plainfield, was arrested at 2:27 a.m. in the 0-99 block of West Van Buren, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond.
  • David M. Rodriguez, 31, of Naperville, was arrested at 2:47 a.m. in the 1100 block of Greensfield, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond.

Benjamin Moore Lapides, 22, of Naperville, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. near East Benton and North Washington, police said. He was charged with fighting. He posted bond.

Fighting

Alexander C. Ardelean, 21, of Naperville, was arrested at 12:01 a.m. in the 0-99 block of East Benton Avenue, police said. He was charged with fighting. He posted bond.

DUI

Christopher James Peterson, 41, of Aurora, was arrested at 1:42 a.m. in the 500 block of Fairway Drive, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond.

Suspended/revoked license

Christopher Macias, 25, of Oswego, was arrested at 9:25 p.m. in the 2800 block of West Diehl Road, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. He posted bond.

Possession of cannabis

Charles Kim Hill, 36, of Joliet, was arrested at 11:16 p.m. in the 800 block of Beaumont Drive, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis. He posted bond.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Cassandra A. Whyte, 26, of Plainfield, was arrested at 11:13 p.m. in the 1300 block of Aurora Avenue, police said. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. She posted bond.

iPhone stolen

An iPhone and $20 were stolen in the 500 block of South Route 59, police said.

Headphones stolen

Someone stole a $199.95 pair of Monster N-Pulse headphones and left the store through an emergency exit in the 700 block of South Route 59, police said.

Mulch glued to mailbox

This report is the second time in which a spray adhesive was sprayed on a mailbox and mulch was glued to it in the 1200 block of Teakwood Court, police said.
