7 DUI Arrests, Aggravated Assault: Naperville Police Blotter

Friday, Aug. 2

DUI

Michael C. Shanahan, 19, of Bolingbrook, was arrested at 3:48 a.m. in the 1300 block of River Oak Drive, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of drugs. He posted bond. 

Aggravated battery

Justin Paul Burde, 18, of Yorkville, was arrested at 3:45 a.m. in the 1300 block of Dukane Avenue, police said. He was charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Aggravated assault

Zachary William Strong, 21, of Plainfield, was arrested at 5:09 p.m. in the 2600 block of Saint Albans Circle, police said. He was charged with aggravated assault. He posted bond. 

Suspended/revoked license

Donald Christopher Caprio, 34, of Naperville, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. near Washington Street and East Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. He posted bond. 

Saturday, Aug. 3

Possession of cannabis

• Christian David Search, 21, of Plainfield, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. in the 100 block of East Madison Street, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis and transported to DuPage County Jail. 
• Jacqueline Noel Hub, 24, of Naperville, was arrested at 3:28 a.m. near Washington Street and West Porter Avenue, police said. She was charged with possession of cannabis. She posted bond. 

Disorderly conduct

Joseph Dae Meister, 25, of Naperville, was arrested at 12:53 a.m. in the 0-99 block of East Chicago Avenue, police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct. He posted bond. 

DUI

• Joseph Donkor, 38, of Oswego, was arrested at 1:54 a.m. near 83rd Street and South Route 59, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond. 
• Bryan Keith Gray, 29, of Aurora, was arrested at 2:20 a.m. near Diehl Road and CNRR, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond. 
• Justin Aaron Cisneros, 21, of Yorkville, was arrested at 2:26 a.m. near Iroquois Avenue and Chippewa Drive, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond. 
• Anthony Lee Fowler, 27, of Channahon, was arrested at 3:21 a.m. in the 1800 block of Centre Point Circle, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond. 

Aggravated battery

John Paul Jones, 51, of Oswego, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. near Webster Street and West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with aggravated battery and transported to DuPage County Jail.

Fighting

Adam Michael Clark, 28, of Naperville, was arrested at 1:10 a.m. in the 0-99 block of West Chicago Avenue, police said. He was charged with fighting. He posted bond. 

Warrant

• Eligha Tyrese Zinn, 19, of Aurora, was arrested at 12:01 a.m., police said. She was charged on a warrant and transported to DuPage County Jail. 
• Shawn Michael Balduff, 22, of Naperville, was arrested at 2:53 a.m. in the 1500 block of Bonaventure Drive, police said. He was charged on a warrant and transported to Will County Jail. 
• Jeremiah Terry Komon, 34, of Montgomery, was arrested at 8:27 a.m. in the 100 block of 4th Avenue, police said. He was charged on a warrant and transported to DuPage County Jail. 
  
• Abel Tramaine Silmon, 19, of Plainfield, was arrested at 4:39 p.m. near 104th Street and Plainfield Naperville Road, police said. He was charged on a warrant. He posted bond. 
  

Criminal damage

Edward Miranda, 23, of Plainfield, was arrested at 1:52 a.m. in the 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with criminal damage to property. He posted bond. 

DUI

• Juan Jose Gomez-Amezquita, 30, of Aurora, was arrested at 2:02 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Naperville Wheaton Road, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. 
• Bertha Oliveraz-Alvarez, 33, of Naperville, was arrested at 2:29 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and North River Road, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. She posted bond. 

Possession of cannabis

• Juan Jose Garcia, 24, of North Aurora, was arrested at 3:07 a.m. near Washington Street and East Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis. He posted bond. 
• John Robert Dinello, 21, of Naperville, was arrested at 11:27 p.m. in the 400 block of South Main Street, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis. He posted bond. 

Criminal trespassing

James Gregory Porter, 45, of Naperville, was arrested at 8:47 p.m. in the 900 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with criminal trespassing to a building. He posted bond. 

Property damage

Damage to downspouts, gutters and a light was reported in the 0-99 block of Harbor Court, police said. 

A fence was damaged in the 100 block of West Franklin Avenue, police said .

Vehicle entered

An unlocked vehicle was entered and items were removed in the 0-99 block of Newgate Avenue, police said. 

Window smashed

A large rock was thrown through a door of a vehicle in the 700 block of Superior Court, police said. 

Money stolen

$305 was taken from a woman's purse while she was working in the 200 block of South Main Street, police said. 

GPS stolen

A GPS was taken in the 4100 block of Honey Locust Drive, police said. 

Catalytic converter stolen

A catalytic converter was stolen from a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier in the 1300 block of Ivy Lane, police said. 

Purse stolen

A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1300 block of North Mill Street, police said.
