3 Arrested, 1 Tased During Downtown Naperville Retail Theft Incident: Police

Two women and one man face retail theft charges following a police investigation into suspicious activity in the downtown area Tuesday, police said.

A man was tasered by an officer in downtown Naperville and later arrested along with two women in connection with retail theft Tuesday, police said.

During an investigation into suspicious activity near Main Street and Jefferson Avenue Tuesday around 3:45 p.m., police were led on a brief foot pursuit by Jason Levigne, 30, of Worth. Levigne then allegedly charged at an officer, forcing the officer to deploy a taser on him, police said in a release.

Levigne was taken into custody and charged with retail theft and aggravated assault, according to police.

Jordana Grabenhorst, 24, of Astoria, Oregon, was also charged with retail theft around 3:55 p.m.

Police then later arrested a third suspect, Heidi Levigne, 38, of Worth, near Aurora and Ogden Avenue around 8 p.m., according to police reports. She was also charged with retail theft.

Upon investigation police officers said the three subjects had been involved in retail thefts "from at least two area businesses," according to the release.

Grabenhorst faced prior assault, disorderly conduct and harassment charges last year in Astoria, Oregon, The Daily Asotria reports. 

All three suspects posted bond. Court dates are unknown at this time.
