Warning about scary person in the parking lot at Trader Joe's

I love Trader's Joe's -- and shopping at the Naperville location.

But I just had a very disturbing incident tonight in the parking lot which I feel people need to be warned about.

I had just finished shopping and was loading the groceries into my car. I had my cart on the hash-tag area of the handicapped parking. The entire lot had about 3 cars as it was snowing. A woman pulled up and repeatedly honked at me. I was not sure why she was honking -- perhaps she wanted to use the handicapped spot -- although there were plenty of free spots closer to the door.

I quickly filled the car, pushed the cart away from my car and toward the cart return, got in my car ready to back out but I could not see as I still had my wheel chair in the SUV from my cancer treatment earlier today. I looked in the camera my SUV has for backing up -- and this woman had placed the shopping cart directly behind my vehicle so I could not see it in my rearview mirror.

I got out of the car to move the cart and she parked in the hashed section of the handicapped spot -- perhaps she did not see that it was not a spot due to the snow. But she started yelling at me.

I got back in my vehicle to leave and she again placed the shopping cart behind my car. I am not sure what was wrong with this woman and why she felt compelled to harass a handicapped person -- but I was in disbelief.

Perhaps she was having a bad day or was on some strange medication -- but please be mindful in the parking lot. Her VW has Illinois license plate L55 3416. Had I not moved the cart both times, I would have damaged my car -- and her ranting was scary -- very scary.
