Naperville Public Library Accepting Food for Fines

The food drive will support Loaves & Fishes Community Pantry.

The Naperville Public Library is conducting a "Food for Fines Drive" in support of .

From Dec. 12 to Dec. 23, the will waive $1 of fines for every item of non-perishable food that is brought to any Library building, up to a maximum of $10 per visit ($20 total).  The drive is in support of Loaves and Fishes, Naperville’s only public food bank.

“The Naperville Public Library would not exist if it were not for the support we receive from the community.  We are conducting this program to show our appreciation, give back to those who support us, and help those in need,” said John Spears, executive director of the Naperville Public Library.

The Library will also accept free will donations during this period at any of our three buildings: Nichols Library, 200 W. Jefferson Ave.; , 2035 S. Naper Blvd.; and , 3015 Cedar Glade Dr.
