Are you considering buying an e-reader but feel overwhelmed by the number of choices? Are you aware of the many different features each e-reader has to offer? Do you want to learn more about the Naperville Public Library’s downloadable collection? Then stop on by our "Digital Petting Zoo" for a chance to see and play with a variety of devices, including the Nook, Kobo, iPad and Kindle! The program will be held on Monday, November 7 at the , 2037 S. Naper Blvd., from 6:30-8:00p.m. and again on Wednesday, December 14 at the , 200 W. Jefferson Ave., from 6:30-8:00p.m.
Staff representatives from and Best Buy will be on hand to demonstrate the different e-readers and will help you figure out which e-reader is right for you! Library staff will also be on hand to answer any questions you might have about downloading e-books to your new e-reader. For example, did you know that we have thousands of e-books available in our collection, and that 4,300 eBooks are now available for the Kindle?
Don’t miss out on these awesome resources, and don’t put off buying that e-reader any longer! The Digital Petting Zoo is a must attend for anyone who has questions about e-readers or simply wants to try out a bunch of different models and see what each brand offers.
