Healthcare careers focus of Edward, DuPage Co. NAACP program

Edward Hospital and the DuPage County NAACP Youth Works Program will host, “So you think you want a career in healthcare?” on Saturday, October 12, 8:30 a.m.-12 noon, in the Edward Hospital Education Center, 801 S. Washington St. in Naperville.

Middle school, high school and college students and their parents are invited to attend.  The event is free.  To register, visit https://sytywhc.eventbrite.com.

“This is an excellent opportunity for students to explore the broad range of job possibilities in healthcare, and help determine if it’s a career path they’d like to pursue,” says Mark Gomez, MD, an internal medicine physician with Edward Medical Group.
