Community Update

I want to express my concern with other parents with children in our district schools. I have a six year old that attends Welch Elementary and have complained to the principal and police dept. on the safety measures in place ...there are none, the only thing they have changed since last year and the Sandy Hook incident is the fact you now need an I. D. to show the office. Really? is this going to stop the next mad man? all i got in response to my concern is political one liners as stated by the principal and police dept. " we are working closely with the school/ police dept. on this matter" . As a parent i am outraged all i could say back is that if something happens , it is on them!. Where is the intelligence to PREVENT some horrific incident? are they going to wait until it is too late?
