Starburst is a 6-year-old Domestic Shorthair mix that was surrendered when her previous owner could no longer care for her. She is a very affectionate, but shy girl that would do best in a quite home where she can enjoy relaxing in front of a window watching the wildlife or sitting on a nice, warm lap. Daisy is a 2-year-old Terrier mix that was transferred from another shelter due to lack of space. She is a very active dog that loves to play with toys and go for long walks. She is good with some dogs, and maybe even a cat. Kids in her new home should be at least 12 years of age due to her high energy level. If you have been looking for a curious and active companion for your home, stop by soon to meet Daisy!

More dogs and cats are available at the Naperville Area Humane Society. All the animals have been examined for health and temperament, started on their vaccines and micro-chipped. They are spayed and neutered at adoption. Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Visit us at 1620 W. Breed: Male - Domestic Short Hair - Buff

Background: Owner give-up - "rescued"

Personality: Oliver was rescued when he was found on the side of a road in a cat carrier. We don't know how long he was there - but his nose was raw from trying to get out. He is a handsome boy who is affectionate, loving and laid back. He is a definite cuddler and lap cat who will be your best friend forever. He is waiting in the Annex.
