Background: Diana came to A.D.O.P.T.  in August of 2012 from Naperville Animal Control and is a special needs cat.

Personality: Diana, as you can guess, was named after royalty. Like her namesake, she is graceful, beautiful and well-mannered. She is a front paw de-claw and believe it or not she was found roaming the streets. She is a special needs cat in that she is FIV positive which means she needs to be an only cat OR live with other FIV positive cats. She is a treasure and is waiting in Comm 1.

Speckles is a 10-year-old Domestic Medium Hair cat who was surrendered because her previous owner did not have enough time for her.  She can be shy and would do best in a home that can provide her with a quiet home where kids are older. She would enjoy basking in the sunlight and getting petted  Speckles should also be the only animal in the house.  If you have been looking for a beautiful cat to be your friend and companion, then stop by soon to meet Speckles.

Kelvin is a 1-year-old Terrier mix that was transferred from another shelter due to lack of space. He is a fun-loving dog that has a lot of energy and enjoys playing with toys and going for walks.  He loves to give and get kisses along with lots of snuggle time. As he is very active, kids in his new home should be at least 8-years-old. He does get along with other dogs, and even a dog savvy cat. Kelvin is waiting for his forever family. Maybe that family is you! You won’t know until you stop by to meet this little bundle of fun.

More dogs and cats are available at the Naperville Area Humane Society. All the animals have been examined for health and temperament, started on their vaccines and microchipped.  They are spayed or neutered at adoption. Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Visit at 1620 W. Diehl Rd. in Naperville or online at www.napervilleareahumanesociety.org.
