Charla is a 9-month-old Shepherd mix. She is sweet, but shy and would do best in a home where kids are at least 12-years-old. She gets along with some dogs, and even cats. She's still a youngster and needs a family that has the time and patience to help her round out my manners.
Billy Bones is a 2-year-old Domestic Shorthair Mix male. He is a great lap cat and was found wandering the streets all alone, but found his way here. He's currently living the good life in the front office doing what all cats do--playing, sleeping, eating and getting lots of belly rubs. He would do best in a home that does not have another cat, but a calm, gentle dog would be OK.
More dogs and cats are available at the Naperville Area Humane Society. All the animals have been examined for health and temperament, started on their vaccines and microchipped. They are spayed and neutered at adoption. Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Visit us at 1620 W.
