Adopt Me! Kideo, Pete, Melinda, George

Melinda is an 11-month-old Domestic Longhair cat that was found as a stray.  She is a very sweet and loving girl that loves attention. She will need regular grooming, gets along with other cats and possibly a cat savvy dog. As Melinda is a petite girl who might appreciate a home that is on the calm side, kids in her new home should be at least 8 years old. Stop by soon to meet Melinda! She will melt your heart.

George is an 8-month-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix that was transferred from another shelter due to lack of space. He is a playful pup that enjoys playing with people and toys. He would be a good companion for another dog that likes to play, but should not live with cats. Kids in his new home should be at least 10 years old as his exuberant play style might be too much for small children. George would make a great addition to a family to the right family. More dogs and cats are available at the Naperville Area Humane Society. All the animals have been examined for health and temperament, started on their vaccines and microchipped. They are spayed and neutered at adoption. Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Visit us at 1620 W. Kideo

 Age: 5-years-old

Breed: Domestic Short Hair - Male Brown Tabby Mix

Background: Kideo is an owner give-up due to allergies and has been at A.D.O.P.T. since April of 2011.

Personality: He is another one of our handsome cats who loves to perform karate bouts with his fellow cats in the Annex.  He is also a sweet, laid back gent who loves pets and head bumps.  Come visit Karate Kideo and watch him strut his stuff.

Pete

 Age: 5-years-old

Breed: Labrador Retriever/ Beagle mix

Background: Pete came to us in a shelter transfer. He has been at A.D.O.P.T. since July 14th.

Personality: Pete is a great medium size dog weighing 34 lbs.  He is a quick learner and is food motivated.  We taught him sit, down and crawl in about 10 minutes.  Pete is an active dog who loves to play ball.  Pete gets along with everybody including other dogs and cats.
